Hey Leggo Rocker
Thanks for that.
As your numbers coincide with mine and a few other people's I was interested in anything that was slightly different to ours. Hence, my question to Jah Chicken.
Not that I am desperate or misguided or a complete saddo, of course!!

Just stumbled across another copy of this. Again the matrix number has the more deeply stamped "2" in it.

Leggo, my copy has a 2 stamped over the 1 on both sides as well. In addition, the etchings on the A and B side were reversed. The etchings of A and B are crossed out (through etchings) and there are 2 A's stamped (vertically ascending) where the B was etched. There are 2 B's stamped above the incorrectly labeled A side as well. Very strange..

Mine is as above too !

I came across this old thread while researching this LP and I think I might have answered your mystery guys!
I have BOTH presses to hand.
The lightweight vinyl on the FLX4002 A2/B2 press has side A and B mixed up. Note 'JONZ' in the matrix on side A and 'Sound Clinic' on B.
It is musically the same as the labels.
The next (I assume) press with the AA / BB overstamp now has 'Sound Clinic' on A - and 'Jonz' is now on B. The labels are the same - and thus now wrong. They must have realised they'd messed up and altered the stamper matrix - swapping the sides by stamping over A and B. I assume the second A and B - placed above the mess caused by the over-stamp - is for the sake of clarity.
Confused? Get your hands on both versions and it'll all make sense ;0)
