Im a little confused about the "yellow tracksuit man". All over IMDB they are saying it is Dillinger, but i seen in the french documentary "Rock in the City: Kingston", a man credited as bongo herman points at a picture and says its him.

And i would be interested to know if there was a collection of photos and names of all the people who appear in the movie. Allmost each time i see it i recognise someone i didnt before.

I have a book, ROCKERS STYLE, which confirms the guy dancing in the yellow track suit is BONGO HERMAN,

it's called We A Rockers buy the sound track its amazing!!

I dont think anyone came to an agreement on what song is the very first song in that scene when horsemouth is pulling up to jack rubys place. People are saying big joe midnight rock. And everyone is saying in the second song its dillinger? But he says midnight rock in the second song. So which is the first song? I dont know why this is so complicated. How are they going to bring out a movie and not specify on important details like these. Its frustrating.

I give up searching........the tunes is BAAAD all the same....

Seems like this tune/scene is the big talking point of rockers film for roots archive massive!!!
Its my favourite music thru the whole film, and a big mystery too it seems........

Travis - relax. Someone else put it well in another related thread that is live currently: it's part of the mystery. Also the way the tune appears in the movie is as background music to a scene that to me was shot live as it happened versus the credited tunes that are played as part of the soundtrack mix. I'm assuming that's why those tunes go uncredited (also may have had to do with rights, etc.).

I been searching for that track - the one on the entrance to the party - for years now too...the one b4 the answer riddim track...it is a great mystery and maybe best left that way I just want to hear it clearly at volume, seen. Any info...Big Joe? whoever...please Answer Mi Question.
