Recently I purchased all of this from Ernie B for a grand total of $34.53 (includes shipping and handling):
CDs:
[cover=269,301] [cover=514,622] [cover=3793,3986] [cover=4715,4111] [cover=2147,2504] [cover=5730,4300] [cover=2318,2677] [cover=2584,2974]
plus these CDs
Rock On: Greatest Hits From The Observer Label
Reggae Music All Right- Michael Prophet
Armageddon Time- Various w/ Sizzla, Capleton, Morgan Heritage, etc. (Xterminator 1998)

and this LP
[cover=7363,4999]

The Michael Prophet disc wasn't so good but the rest of them were down right amazing.

Not a bad deal all in all.

oh..i´ve got one for you. 3-4 years before the reissue, i found a copy of lacksley castell - morning glory in nm cond for £6 ..i was at a festival in sweden, and outside the area a guy had set up a stall selling a few records. this one he had hidden in the back of the box behind more pricey items by cutty ranks and such..

Best deal...I bought about 10 records or more for 4 dollars each but these stood out the most out of the pile:

Yellowman live with Peter Metro and Sassafrass and Nicodemus Nice up the dance, Billy Boyo Little Harry all for 12 dollars in a used reggae section at a local record shop.

I walked out of this used record store and just bought under 50 dollars worth of records that would have cost two to three hundreds of dollars online or auctions sites. Best score ever...still remember that day. Walked out with a smile...what a rush. That was 10 years ago already. I got lucky on this one as they just put out more used reggae records out that day considering how many reggae collectors are in my area.

ranking toyan, i have many nice memories like that.. i remember when i used to live in amsterdam late 90s, how during weekends, i used to set the alarm for an early wake up..roll a spliff and get on my bicykle heading for the markets. it was essential you´d get there real early to catch the best records. after a while you´d recognize the same people turning up, week after week looking for reggae just as you...you´d give them a nod and occasionally you´d compare your finds.. after the markets you had to move on to check the second hand stores.. once in a while you could find something really nice for no money at all. i remeber one time i left a store with almost every 7" on the jah shaka label, yami bolo - it´s not surprising, gregory isaacs - it go suh..and a bunch like that for £1 each. after a good morning hunt, you could find yourself at home cleaning up some greensleeves 12" or sumt while a next was playing on the stereo. checking the import stores like boudisque was a once a week buisness - tuesdays round 12 o clock when the weeks shipment came in. but as i was doing work for wallboomers, i had pretty much the supply of new tunes and reissues covered as payment. once in a while a trip to rotterdam to visit zola zola was worth the ride by train..
my one single most memorable thing from a-dam tho, was one queens day celebration.. on queens day, anyone with anything to sell is allowed to set up stall anywhere basically..so the streets will be filled with stuff literally ..anyway, i had walked around all day, not finding much to write home about reggaewise. i was heading home tired by now, when i spotted a dude sitting in the middle of a roundabout with a box of records in front of him.. i walked up to him and asked if he was selling these, as he might have been just taking a rest with his purchses i thought ..he said yes, and i started to flip thru dub album after dub album...some really rare pieces - wackies an stuff. he told me he had´nt sold anything that day and i was one of the few who had even bothered looking at his records. after a while he asked me if i´d be interested in all of them for a fair price? i asked him what a fair price would be? ..about £50 i was told(!).. i carried that box home..trust me
