The destruction and chaos caused by alcohol is all too obvious. Check any city centre in Britain between the hours of 10pm and 4am for a graphic illustration of this craziness.

The expense of dealing with this problem is astronomical and a huge drain on resources in general.

I have never seen a bunch of stoners causing trouble like this on a Friday night!

Yet booze is legal, fashionable, taxable and acceptable in this stupid country (UK).

But hey, this is Babylon dealings. No one said it made any sense...

I have been talking a few years ago with someone who studied neurology-toxicology (don't know the appropriate english term) at a high university level. She was studying the effects of drugs on rats by intoxicating them at any level you could imagine (till death for hard drugs). As far as she told me, there is absolutely no evidence that THC makes any damages on brain. What I remember of a long and not that easy to follow discussion, is that the effect of THC is to dilate synapses. So there is more signal transmitted between your neurones, that brings a lot of effects to your consciousness, that's why you can see more colors or hear sounds you wouldn't in a "normal" consciousness. These effects don't last more than a few hours even if you can still find THC in the blood far after that.

I don't want to say weed is good for brain, I don't smoke anymore for years now, I'm just saying here what I've been told. No need to say that alcohol and lots of other drugs can destroy parts of your brain in a short or long time period.

I-Lion Tafari, below is what wikipedia says about the pharmacology of THC in the brain. In short, THC and other endocannabinoids act as neurotransmitters that are released into the synapse following the release of Ca ions.

most herb nowadays is just so hi grade and full of glistening trichomes the naive user thinks its laced with something.im not saying that cant happen. lsd laced weed is absurd,lace weed with expensive cocaine is a weird dumb personal choice not on retail.if it was to be laced with something its probably chemical fertilizers from a greedy stupid farmer.

i doubt if the greedy dealers ever put coke etc into the herb. from what i've read the extra, usually talcum powder or glass, is just to add a little weight, therefore dollars to their pockets. greedy bas££rds. lava fi them. leave the trees alone.
