we used to have asher senator, smiley culture, daddy sandy, daddy rusty, etc.macka b must be one of the very best dj of all time. what a fine mc and singer the guy has been for 23 yrs now.

didn't see any japanese band cited so I must mention Dry and Heavy although I'm french... Excellent dub, one album with king jammy.
I discovered in the US a guy doing his own stuff and I think it is wonderful, roots to the bone.
