Well, I should finish my van den hul cables. Got them for 3 years in the drawer now. My soldering skills are not the same quality like they used to be years ago. Hmmm...

I *have* to use bare cables because of the connectors on the back of my twice-as-old-as-me KLH Model Six speakers!

I'd say they sound better than they look, but that's partly because mine are pretty beat up.
I just love the sound of the "acoustic bass suspension system" they employ, and the quality of the wood and the material used for the cones is quite awesome. They're not exactly mega-powerful, but they're just right for my apartment and they'll probably keep running for ever. They look indestructible.

I used speaker cables bare. They were not best quality. After 2 years they showed corrosin.
Now I use silver which is totally different in sound and manufacturing quality.
For interconnectios I use WBT gear which is nice stuff.
If interested, check them under
www.wbt.de and press "Produkte" button.
Btw...I don“t work for them

Not quite on the same level as Leggo, but I just picked up some Techincs SB-5300 speakers to pair with my KLH Model Sixes. Nice match!
