Scroll over to the right and go down to "About Natty Wailer" and this is what you read:
About Natty Wailer
This artist... Natty Wailer, years in the making, is from and inspired by the old school Reggae of the legendary Bob Marley and the Wailers. Natty recorded and toured with Bob Marley and the Wailers as a keyboard player for over nine years. Natty recorded numerous albums and compilations with Bob Marley such as "Songs of freedom". During the same period, Natty was also playing and recording with Familyman. You will find his name Ian Wynter (often mispelt Winter) on some of his albums such as "Familyman in Dub", "Guided Missile" and "Work". Furthermore, Natty has recorded with many legendary artists such as Dennis Brown, Lival Thompson, Johnny Clarke, Chinna Smith,... As a result, he has learnt the music trade to the extent of adapting the formula for making good music while spreading the importance of history and culture. After leaving the Wailers in 2000, he found his own entourage "Natty Wailer and the Reggae Vibes" with the main purpose of continuing this tradition. Subsequently, this is not just a musical career that he seeks to project but to pursue as the wider purpose of multiculturalism. He feels the need to contribute ultimately to world peace through music and culture. This indigenous music known as Reggae has the ability to bring all cultures and people together in a common way.

Is see the album "Family Man In Dub" gets a mention above too. Here again, no album with that title was ever recorded. It was basically a compilation of Fams singles, released many years after being recorded.

Hello to all Reggae Enthusiasts and rastasis in particular!
I have done some research myself and see that Natty and his management have written a blog in response to all the scepticals with a bio full of reliable links:

In another blog on their official myspace, there is a link to an interview of Natty Wailer with Marc Virgona from Bob Marley Magazine.
Keeping it live!

No Eire address was given by Family Man's friend Ian Wynter when he was in the English court based on the fact that Family Man's Mr Wynter does not have an address, or any connections with anyone living in Ireland, unlike this younger Jamaican guitarist who does.
rastabrew's links show us all (again) that the Irish based Jamaican guitarist who calls himself Natty Wailer is much younger than what any members Family Man's band would have been when they recorded "Work" & "Guided Missile" over 35 years ago!
Irish Jamaican "Natty Wailer" was only a baby (or young boy) when Ian Wynter & Family Man were in the studio.
This Irish based guitarist never recorded a note with Bob, Peter, Bunny or Family Man at any time. To claim he recorded with Fams way back in the mid 70's confirms this trickster man should really be dubbed "The Babyman Imposter".
What an embarrassing situation this "Babyman Imposter" has created for himself with all his falsehoods.
Play whatever music you want on your guitar Babyman and sing whatever songs you want. You got talent. Don't sell yourself as somebody you are not. There is no excuse for you to continue with your chosen Babylon influenced spoofing/character versioning.

Are you serious?
He looks in his late 50s to me.

OK Inyaki, you could be correct about his age but I'd guess late 40's more than late 50's.

Hello,
I guess that Natty would be happy to hear that he looks like in his 40s but he's obviously at least in his mid 50s! His problem might be that he looks too young for his real age????
Do you seriously believe that a white Australian Ian Winter recorded in Jamaica as a keyboard player on the following songs and albums and that Ian Wynter aka Natty Wailer pretends to be this white guy! Unbelievable!!! However, it is a fact that his name was often spelt as Winter instead of Wynter.

By the way, Natty Wailer is also well known in Australia. There is a video of Natty Wailer performing at Footscray in Australia on YouTube and on his MySpace homepage! I've also found one of his interviews given in Australia in 2007 (Reggae News Australia):
http://rastainoz.com/news/index.php?blo ... e=1&page=2
Could this explain this big confusion?
Have you read the recent interview of Natty Wailer by Marc Virgona from Bob Marley Magazine dated from January 09?
http://www.bobmarleymagazine.com/interv ... php?e=4142
What do you think?
Can't you hear the Wailers' Vibes in his music?
Some of his songs are featured on MySpace and he's going to release his new album very soon. I'm personally looking forward to hearing his new songs!!!

Well, it seems that you have to register before you can read the interview, unless you can tell me I'm doing something wrong.
In fact, I'm still confused on who's who, and frankly, I don't care so much anymore.
