Revolutionaries - "Sentimental Dub" (aka Dub Off Har Blouse & Skirt Vol. 2)
Boah, I was looking so long for "Dub Off ..., vol. 2" and now you tell me I already have it as "Sentimental Dub".
But good to see another LP removing from my wants list.

DJ sounds similar to sample on your link .Very hard to define the groove on this release , as it dots around . A slooow slack version on the Liquidator rhythm on it , a version with " Burial of Longshot ( Prince of Darkness/George Lee ) ridden over with dub , a toking anthem which could be called "Legalize It ", a version of the Troggs track , " With a Girl Like You " as well ! Basically six instrumentals and six dubs .
Thanks for the run down. I was hoping it would be dubs to his earlier productions - the ones that Trojan put out on the Joe The Boss compilation

"meditation dub" on flames, is different (and much more rare) than the Techniques LP, it's basically a channel 1 dub LP, recorded & mixed by the at CH1 late 70s w/ the Revolutionaries, produced by Ossie Hibbert (but released in NY on Flames by Winston Jones). the sound is identical (and KILLER) as the several dub albums channel 1 produced & released on well charge...

are 'black heat dub' and the tommy mccook LP on roots man the same record? really?
could be i guess, or could be some copies of one just used the labels from the other, they have the same producer.
i remember someone saying the tommy mccook LP was the same as "lovers time" on carl's which is a cheap LP.
dunno if that's true though.
what about the blank Tommy McCook LP on Micron, did anyone figure that one out?

That's right about the Flames LP. That's one that I am really after. All That Channel 1 Style stuff is real solid dub. I don't know why this particular LP is so hard to find, though. All the other stuff the revolutionaries did is pretty available, but I suppose it has something to do with the label that pressed it...very limited I assume.

I have A1 Dub on Trojan and Meditation Dub volumes 2 and 3 on Techniques. Don't know about the first one, but the latter two are not that hard to come by, so maybe you're looking for another copy and I misunderstood.
Anyway, they are not for sale, but I can send you some sound if you want.
cheers,
Ingmar
