yeah, look at the original post here where i talk of the mural in Batumi, the Dalai Lama cafe in India which plays reggae all day, etc. Great adventures

Reggae seems to be pretty huge in Bali, Indonesia. When I was there almost two years ago, I remember hearing it playing constantly from the shops and restaurants in Kuta Beach. Nothing too Roots, but definitely Bob, and the local bands like Steven and Coconut Trees.

Also, in Pai, in Northern Thailand, there is an annual Reggae Festival. Pai is such an artsy town full of local Thai dreads, with a super chill vibe. Unfortunately, we had to fly out to Vietnam just a couple days before it happened.

Very true DonB....You ought to see the people eating the vegetables and drinking tea when Dennis Brown goes on the air at Namgyal cafe , India..great stuff...
