Last two might not be too easy to get hold of.
Tribute to Peckings is rare?
I have a copy...
So do I..
Probably not that rare then?
MightyZ bought my copy from Peckings himself in his old Shephards Bush shop (I think?)
Do you know what.. I don't care. I said it was "PROBABLY not so easy to find" because I dont see it in shops so frequently, thats all.
Calm down Luke B.
Absolutely no offence at all was meant by my post. I was just chatting and simply wondering (aloud) if indeed this record was rare - or not.
Nothing I wrote was meant as a sarcastic or disrespectful comment at all.
So no need for your rather acidic reply.
Keep it sweet here, please.
haha, I understand Leggo Rocker, I always assume people are using sarcastic tones on message boards because in my experience people using them are patronising.

Roy Richards is the Studio 1 essential...The Everly Brothers cover is classic....
No Studio 1 in tha collection is like soup with no water...

I'll have to hear it again cos it didn't make it for me. but I'm easy to convince that a studio one record is essential.

you know... studio one fans have knowledge and they always believe that some unheard material do exist.
but when they find out they've been fooled by some rookie their frustration comes out...
that's what happened with lego rocket and his mysterious sugar minott studio one uptempo showcase vol. 2...
so I would excuse ja-man...
and lego rocket too... he's just too busy buying records instead of listening them

I'm not sure if he was referring to this LP

if he was then it's more of a combination than Showcase.
Maybe someone can hook me up

I need to check if I've got this one... and then check if they are really on riddims recorded in studio one. the man sugar minott always refers to studio one even if the music is recorded in a cheap studio with bad musicians. his recent tribute to studio one is a clear example of what i'm saying.
it's really sad to see someone who actually owes everything to coxsone destroying studio one masterpieces like that.
