Since a lot of us on here have a deep love for the roots music, I don't think so because you will continue to see albums changing from hand to hand (selling/trading). A type of recycling so to speak and also rescue missions.
There are many bargains and finds out there for the taking but you have to invest time to locate them. Technology has helped provide a way for us to track down many titles on our want lists that we never would have found (This is very true for me).
Now with the new music coming out I think it will be in the future. I saw a lot of releases this year are only available as MP3 downloads or you can buy the 7" release. You then have to hope a compilation comes out with the tunes or it gets a proper release.
I think for the newer music coming out I may have to cross to the dark side and end up downloading the titles to the IPOD. Luckily I have kids who can school the old dinosaur on what is going on in the new Tech world!
None of this however will discourage me from listening to reggae till my dying breath!
