King Jammy dubplate from '81 of Black Uhuru: Times to Unite and African Love.

It's another one where the vinyl isn't in such good shape, but the music is.

@ Wadada Lion: Don't you just love that Sugar Minott LP, Slice of the Cake? Great choice - it's a killa!

Right now I am spinning:

Planet Mars Dub - Ice Breakers and Mighty Diamonds - Virgin Front Line

Needed some cool cool vibes and this LP provides them!

Slice of the Cake is a cool album all the way through, lame cover art kept me from buying it for such a long time...can't judge a book (album) by it cover I guess.

Now on to Prince Jammy Destroys the Invaders

My brain always wants to insert 'Space' into the title. Takes an effort to use the album's real name.

Today I am running through a big bunch of 12 inch 45s trying to get a playlist together for my forthcoming set at www.gvpg.com

Right now I'm spinning: Gregory Isaacs - Willow Weep on GG's Records.

Cued up to go next is:

Crying in the Ghetto - Hell and Fire with Trinity - also on the GGs label.
