@kalcidis

Donnot know how it sounds havnt got it yet but I saw it is for download (if you like that) and here are some samples. .

Those two songs are probably the best. I need some non roots quality reggae to keep it in balance and these songs seem to do it for me. Made me smile. There is also a thread of them in RA Forum.

Last LP I picked up is Howie Smart's Rock & Come In.

Might have gone for a bit cheaper if someone hadn't pointed out a listing error. It's ok though because I wouldn't have known about the LP in first place if it weren't for him. :)

I'm thinking I was the culprit there. Sorry, mate. Wasn't my intention to ruin the auction for anyone. Was rather thinking that it was good to point out so a buyer doesn't get it thinking it's another album. Brilliant album which I have without sleeve personally (there was three variations of the sleeve: gold, white and yellow).

Haha, no worries my friend. In fact, I'm not entirely sure I would've checked the auction if it hadn't been listed properly, despite knowing about the identical sleeves! Didn't intend for the post to sound scathing at all - rather more of a compliment I was aiming for. Love your blog and particularly your page on Canadian reggae (even if it's caused me to turn my pockets inside-out!). Truly refreshing change from many collectors/selectors who horde reggae knowledge fearing that others will hunt their prized tunes.

For those who haven't checked it out, here's kalcidis's site: http://newromantic.blogg.se/

Dennis Brown- Joseph's Coat of Many Colours on the Deb label. It came in a blank sleeve but was only $5.

Also Iqulah- Rasta Philosophy Vol 1 haven't had a chance to spin much of this record yet though.

my latest (small) haul is Burning Spear - Hail HIM.

By the way, does anyone know where to find Augustus Pablo's King Tubbys Meet Rockers Uptown on vinyl with the painting with pastel colors on the cover? I've been looking around, but generally one finds the alternate cover with a photograph and a green border.
