The first punk coloured vinyl I remember was the orange 'the day the world turned dayglo' by xray spex 1978 I believe. Also around this time is a very rare Stranglers pinky coloured vinyl 7inch eP - that a friend had - I believe it had Something better change on it, but I can't remember the other tracks. It had a centre label which had offset prints of the band like it was meant to be viewed with 3d glasses or something -any one no more about this one?

BTW my first reggae vinyl was Heavyweight Dub Showdown - Scientist vs Jammy 1980 I think

I definitely wouldn't have called The Jam punk. I think a lot of people got lumped into that category just because they were a little bit different and were around at that time. Elvis Costello springs to mind.

I really do wish I had see Feelgood with Wilko. Sadly, I have to make do with the DVD of their appearance on The Old Grey Whistle Test and also the DVD of "Going Back Home" gig on Southend Pier.

I still do think "Stupidity" is one best albums ever. Do you know it was number one in October 1976. Unreal. Amazingly, I do still have my original copy. More than a little battered to say the least.
Not sure it there is a coloured vinyl version of that anywhere.

Have see the Wilko Johnson Band a number of times. Norman Watt-Roy (ex-Blockheards) on bass. So tight.

Actually, it was more a religious experience than a gig.

Still do go to quite a few gigs, but I don't think they are as interesting as the gigs from "the good old days"!
