I picked it up recently on eBay. It was described as MINT.

Think yourself lucky you were broke or not looking at the time kalcidis because it certainly ain't mint. Or at least I don't call a LP with marks on the vinyl that are very audible, and a sleeve so worn and split that one corner has almost come away mint.

I read an interview with albert Griffiths where they asked him about the cover. Sounds like he is still wondering why Virgin thought this art had anything to do with his music inside.

An AWESOME record but puzzling art.

The last track on the album is called "Holiday Ride." Perhaps that has something to do with it?

The story about that Gladiators LP has been discussed here before. Something about Virgin thinking 'sweet so till' being about bonking, which it isn't.

Interesting. I'll try to find the thread. Still makes you wonder. Personally I would have preferred their typical album cover of Albert, Clinton, and Gallimore staring at a camera. But then I'd have nothing to post on this thread, so i won't complain.

Sad to hear that. :/ Same thing has happened to me dozens of times. Just to send it back and require a full refund (including the shipping for sending it back).
