Weird, I thought I had answered you earlier, or i just previewed and close the window ?

Anyway, what I was saying is the lettering on the back cover is green (not dark but a kind of light khaki). I'll checked the front this evening when I'm at home. The label is the same as the one presented here (slightly textured). The cover is very thick and solid and there's a one inch golden sticker on the cover saying that it was distributed by VP Brooklyn or something like that. I'll give you an update this evening.

Survival / BMW. Had to have this after seven years of listening to the tape, losing the tape and wanting to hear "Zimbabwe" again.

Africa is in dark green ink actually (not the lettering on the front, only on the back).
Do you know why there are two pressings (white and red) ?

Just got them at geneva's reggaefever shop,
The first one Fred Locks - The Missing Link that was also issued on vinyl, is a compilation of tunes that had to be on a second album of Fred Locks shortly after Black Star Liner, but that never could be on wax before this issue... Specialy got it for "Only One Dub"

And the second one, classic reissue of wackies meditative sounds.

One of the rare issues on the Jah Live label, punchy reggae with great horns !

Hey Ton1, i only have a 12" of scatterock Time/wonder woman(and i really love it)
and i want to know if the lp is as good as this 12 or better
thanx
Don't hesitate, get it. My favorites are Wonder Woman, Telling Me Lies and Don't Kill Your Brother. I would describe this LP as something between early UK sound (for the drum pattern) and Az Yaya & Think for the horns and more generally the feeling of this album. Don't have the 12" but on the album, Wonder Woman and Time are extended so I guess it's the same cuts on your 12".

Antonin, I have no idea why there are different cover designs, but the actual pressings look the same.

I also have the white cover, which is a stick on sheet on heavy card, as is the red/black cover. However, the red/green cover is a fully printed item, not a sheet stuck on the front like the other two.

re Africa Stand Alone LP. I bought it on first release when all copies seemed to be red. Here's what it looks like alongside the white one. The card cover is very stiff!:

Yep, I have both of those copies, plus another red copy that is the same as the white copy in design and construction.

Look carefully at the two maps of Africa at the rootsdub link, they aren't the same.
