I said "free music is better" and criticized music business. it's far from your accusations.
do you really mean "artists aren't getting anywhere" because of people like me? I know that the tendency of this thread is to accuse me of all evil. next step is to accuse me of killing robert marley...
maybe it's not politically correct to say that jamaican music (and genres) are crashing down because of the lower quality. music business would never admit it because they 've got to sell the old crap from their catalogue or some new crap.
do you really think it's a coincidence if soul jazz and heartbeat (with their studio one series) are some of the big sellers at the moment? they are also highly downloaded on p2p. it's just because of the quality they're offering. mp3 files shared are proportional to quantity of copies sold.
this site's new trend is to advertise every (re)release like it was the best ever. this attitude is killing reggae appeal. now reggae fans tends to be hyper critical because they've been fooled by album reviews, artwork, sleeves. they know they have to listen to the record before they buy it.
if reggae fans were so enthusiastic about the last release they would sell a major number of copies.
PS: very flattered to be described as a youngster

I don't get it. you're saying "what you are doing"... but what am I doing exactly except being critical about music business and ringing the alarm when a few masked and disguised people are trying to convince us to put as money as we can into the music business (often for some really low quality release)?
and to make it clear what am I exactly supposed to steal?
I don't make or encourage any profit with my words. I wish we all could say the same.

once again i'd like to know what are the charges against me? I don't feel as I have confessed some illegal or criminal activities.

it's not about politricks or capitalism.
I see a huge difference between coxsone dodd, duke reid etc who put their hands on the mixers when jamaican music was rising up and some people who have nothing to do with this music making other people's work their own trying to get more money.

I DON'T DOWNLOAD! YOU DO DOWNLOAD! and you were accusing me to download. you're too hypocrite!

you're the one who's insulting. R E A D T H E P O S T !
it is really exhausting to answer to any post from people who haven't read the whole thread and keep on accusing me of downloading (it's just an example). I know some people here are feeling angry because I was critical about things they do or think but it's just my point of view... I could be wrong, them too... no winners no loosers, just confronting ideas
