Errol 'Flabba' Holt is generally well known as a Bass player, but when i explore his vocal talent side of him he would be among the best sweet vocalists. My favourite being 'African Train'.

I dont know about "rank highly", but Horsemouth Wallace's "Herb Vendor" is a track I am very fond of. He had a vocal album as well, which I have not heard so cant comment.
And Scully/Noel Simms the percussionist has done some vocals, including my favorite version of 'Fat Gal'

On this release [cover=704,822] Carlton Manning did the Lead vocals, the backing vocals and played rhythm guitar and bass on some tracks.
Besides that he also wrote all songs, arranged them, did the mixing and is -of course- the producer as well. And what a beautiful piece of work this album is; the man Carlton well talented!
