What tune did release on ct65??
Ive never seen a black one but have seen white ones with no cactus tree design (skanga) and also sky blue-on-white WITH cactus design, but if memory serves me correct, this one was a non-reggae issue..
bless up

Cactus release CT 65 is actually a reggae song. Most releases, I believe were reggae. Creole, the parent company released anything inbetween. It's not a roots song, but a rude humour song. The b side was his version of a song called Come Outside - you can guess in which direction that one's tone went. Judge Dread - a white singer was actually a good selling singles artist for Trojan and Cactus records. His songs aren't everyones cup of tea.

OK thats the first ive ever seen a black cactus label in all years of buying music!
The blue on white cactus label i mentioned earlier is actually green on white and is actually called cactus country, which i presume must mbe country & western type music.
The cat no. for these releases was prefixed CTW.....

Yeah well if your lookin 4 tuff roots selection, Judge Dread is best given a wide berth!
Cactus did put out some good stuff though, like Upssetters Revolution Dub LP..
And some good singles like CT75...
