Has anyone being shopping in this site??www.reggaefever.ch.
when you buy a cd or a vinyl lots of some funny charges comes and pushes the whole price up.just ridiclous.i can imagine how many people he has priced out..

I discovered this site earlier this year and have used them about 5 times.

I noticed that the cost jump up considerably from that of the base price of the CD`s and I believe this is to do with postal charges which to be honest are a bit steep.

However, each order I have placed has been really smooth and have arrived within a week of placing order.

It works this way, you place your order but do not submit any payment details. They then check item is in stock, process the order and then e-mail you a link to the invoice which you pay via Paypal.

Once they receive payment they dispatch order and send you a second e-mail confirming shipment and another link which enables you to track the package.

Like I said, a bit expensive but worth it as so far I have been more than happy with the service they have provided.

BTW, they have a good vinyl auction going on at the moment, they e-mailed it to me earlier this week.

Very professional site in my experience. Ordered from them a couple months back and my order arrived in the US within a week. They seem to stock many items from the 90s and 2000s that other online stores no longer have.

The vinyl auctions always look nice, but are way overpriced.

yes.it's ok when you are buying 4,5,6, vinyls or cds...when you are buying just 1 cd or vinyl,the total cost becausen of charges like handling,insurance makes the totalprice go high..and the postage is registered that's why .not like ernie b reggae where you have other option..reggaerecord.com uses only EMS and that makes the the cost of total order also really dear..

don't forget. Switzerland is not part of the EU. I'm from Holland. If I ship or order something from Switzerland I'll pay almost the same as when ordering something from the US.

and there is a reason they have obligated insurance. Loads of packages get stolen at postal services all over the world (especially in southern European countries) or buyers who claim their package never arrived.

Besides who are you to complain? It's their own decision. Nobody forces you to buy from their store.

i'm not complaining or moaning...they can do whatever they want....i buy from lots of shops.mostly ebay.as you said about the risk of lost pacakages is the main reason i guess as some abuse that through the paypal system in order to get refund even though they got it..
