One of those songs which are that little bit more special, standing out from the crowd of beautiful music of the time. I believe there was a Studio 1 cut, but I am focussing on this Joe Gibbs arrangement:

Was there a single of this track?
Surely there is a ET dub floating around? I would be VERY greatful to anyone who could point me in the right direction.
Anything else on the riddim?

Thanks

Based on the sound this is most definitely not a Studio One cut.

Yes I know, I meant to say that there was an earlier cut which I think was at Studio 1, (which I am not interested in) but I was looking for info about the 2nd cut I linked to, which I believe is Joe Gibbs. Sorry I was not clear

Thanks

this is one of the main songs that got me into reggae years ago

I'd also like to hear a dub or alternate version

I was introduced to this track via a UK released LP called 'the frontline volume one' (no dub version). I subsequently bought the LP that the track came from (no dub version neither). Your best bet if you want a dub version is to try and track down a Jamaican or American release of the song (TR Groovemaster label JA pressing), that's most likely to have a version on the b side because that was the usual format.Bear in mind this, the song is 35 years old, so you may struggle to get one.

Just a small correction: this is not a Joe Gibbs production, but a Prince Tony production
I've never come across a dub of this, but that doesnt mean there isnt one!
