Does anybody know the other artist name who covered the Johnny Clarke track "Give Me Your Love" on the same Bunny Lee Rhythm? It's just about the same 70's mix and the singer also has a very cool roots singing voice. I also know that Jimmy Riley did it too for Sly & Robbie but in a totally different style. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Dudley, I heard it last week on Colorful Radio London. I think they did mention the artist but I didn't quite get the name due to the strong accent. Who knows, maybe it was a mordern aritst doing a new lick on the classic riddim. I'll listen up some more to see If I can catch it. Hopefully they'll play it again.

@Dudley: that's not U-Roy but U Brown.
It's mistitled on ['Strictly Rockers Ina Dread Land'](http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1469)

No it is U Roy, even though around 75-76 the voices do sound almost the same style.Trust me it's him. I have the album too.

As the good Mod says, it's most definitely U-Brown, not U-Roy.
