Ready to drop the cash on a CD copy of "Israel Dub" by Israel Vibration, but I see 2 versions out there - and would like to know which (if either) sounds better: Greensleeves or RAS? It's not that expensive second hand, but want to get the most bang for my buck...
Thanks in advance!

Israel Dub twoofer on Greensleeves is excellent sound, cannot imagine the RAS copy could be any better.

They should be exactly the same, RAS used to distribute Greensleeves titles in the US.

Correct ReggaeFire, and Greensleeves marketed and distributed RAS in the UK. There should be no difference. Both companies have access to high quality manufacturers. I wouldn't expect any pressed on a digestive biscuit sound quality that has affected some JA pressings in the past.

israeltafari fatman ridim section (top ranking) - dub to "same song" is one of the best dub LP's of all time - far better in my eyes than the "same song dub" which is a different dub mix of the same tracks! shows you the importance of mixing/engineering

As an aside, I just took delivery of an EXCELLENT reissue of IV's "The Same Song" from 2001 on EMI.
4 bonus tracks:
"Crisis (discomix)", "The Same Song (12" version)", "Weep and Mourn (12" version), "Crisis (dub)".

Great pics and liner notes from Lloyd "Bass Culture" Bradley too...
