Natural Roots + Prewax info wanted..........

Just wondering if anyone has anymore info on these two bands especially Prewax, i here they only did a few releases and weren't around very long but from what i heard there a very talented band.
The other threads on this board on similar UK bands of that time have all proven very successful and even got the band members posting which is great, maybe we can get a band member to reply, i hope! i think we where very lucky to get replies from talisman and dambala band members.
If u have any info on these bands please post, does anyone have a list of what prewax put out? any LPs?

yeh i got a few vids of them also off rockers roadshow, i think prewax did the music to a tv show in the early 80's.........

greetings, I played keyboards in pre-wax with my two brothers and friend from junior school on drums, bass player was also a school friend. clips can be seen on you tube with maca b, Iam also on you tube with capital letters at legend nite club in wolverhampton. music is forever in my veins.blesssssss

Hi Popeye, thankyou for posting the reply, very nice to see you post hear, this seems to happen quite alot on hear where we get the band members posting, very nice.
So did Pre-wax put out any albums?

great to hear u getting back together, i know Capital Letters is also back together which is great news, good luck with the gig, wish i could make it...
If u looking for venues try the Jazz+Roots Club AKA The Buttermarket in Shrewsbury, u get alot of people comming over from the midlands to see reggae acts, would luv 2 see u play there.

Hi
I sang lead vocal with Pre-wax middle to late 70's. Roots and Culture was our strength, forte and genre. I went on to do Gospel. I'm currently working on new songs and reviving old ones with the founder member(s). We performed together quite recently with Capital Letter's
hopefully, we'll get back together as Pre-Wax.

Forgot to mention, i recorded a song called
'Rasta Woman' written by Clyde Taylor(founder Member)produced by Dennis Bovell(Matumbi)Unfortunately, I don't have a copy neither does Clyde, so if anyone out there has please let us know.
I also wrote two other songs 'Love Rasta', and 'Love Is Everything'. These were not recorded though.
