Free From Sin 1979
Jamaican Heroes 1980
Voice Of Thunder 1981
Musical History 1983

I've been listening to the Jamaican Heroes Lp abit lately & really like the riddim & the Prince's delivery on the track "Prison Discipline". Is there a singing cut ?

Also does anyone know the vocal on the next track "Musical History" Maybe Errol Holt??

"Natty read up the history ,Natty study up geography..."

thanx

Yes CB this would easily be my favourite of his 4 Trojan releases, Deck Of Life/The Vision/Natty Champion are all fantastic ,& that's just side one!!

Always thought it a little strange that on side two of the Jamaican Heroes LP there is the track called Musical History when the "Musical History" LP came out three years later..... & there is no track with that title on the "Musical History" LP!?!?

My knowledge of prince far i's work is limited (mostly to B&F's Silver and Gold comp, the Singers & Players cuts, and a couple of the dub albums). Along with JA Heroes, I'd be grateful for thoughts about the best place to start?

Thanks.

jamaican heroes is wicked. in the world of jamaican albums, where there's little to distinguish the songs from one album from those of another (cos they're usually recorded at the same time), even on the two disc, 40 track anthology of far i's trojan albums, jamaican heroes stood out for me. the first one, er free from sin, is also brilliant.
