What countries or places around the world are into classic style reggae music of the 70s?

I see that "modern style" reggae is quite popular in some European countries, but it seems to be of a faster more rock influenced type. And Ive seen some more classic style Reggae being made in Thailand, but reading a recent thread on B&F it seems that classic style reggae is pretty thin on the ground there as well. What about Nigera and Ghana?

Where on earth has the biggest following of classic 70s/early 80s sound reggae? If anywhere..?

I know absoloutely nothing about current roots bands/hot spots in the classic style, so any information, bands to check out etc would be very much appreciated.

I do know several native people from there, who also are in the music biz. It's pretty popular yet there is no such serious thing as production and things like that. A lot of people don't even internet or enough food... (Africa... with no disrespect..)

In Argentina there are several parties of roots reggae, and a lots of band with that sound.
Los Cafres, Resistencia Suburbana, Nonpalidece, Dancing Mood, etc...
