some great maytals LP's out there - "monkey man" must be close to my favourite but also love "from the roots" and "slatyam stoot" both with kong/warwick lyn material...

What about Funky Kingston and In The Dark. Funky Kingston is very good for me, basslines are just killers (Sit Right Down, Funky Kingston), but In The Dark seems overrated to me. I don't know, most of the songs on that LP are just borring to me.

Reggae Got Soul was the first one I heard, so it's gets the nod for sentimental value
