Hey guys!
Couple of years ago i saw this brilliant reggae book at Chapters. I don't remember the title, it was a phenomenal piece of reggae information. There was a small article about each artist + discography + couple of hits / key songs. I was stupid enough not to buy it and now I regret it big time.
Does anyone know what book is it? Doesn't look like it's still in print...
Thank you!

I think I know which one you mean. It's a rather square format of the book and it features Bob Marley on the cover (which goes for 90% of all reggae books basically).

I googled and found the book I was thinking of. Was it this one?

Thank you so much guys for your responses! I've looked up both books on amazon. I think the one I saw at the store was "The Rough Guide", but "Reggae and Caribbean Music" is amazing as well! Now I want both of them
Thanks again!

I haven't read the Essential Listening book but the Rough Guide volume is essential. It's really a great primer and a wonderful resource for scratching beyond Marley. As a matter of fact, I was rather proud they put my man Alton Ellis on the cover of the last edition!
