weird 45 issue - Winston Riley production

so i got this 45 many, many moons ago, and I still haven't sorted out what tune it is. the label is Riley Inc, and the artist is Ansil Collin (sic) and the title is Far East Special, but the title is blacked out with a heavy marker. there are no other marks on the labels, so it seems like it might be one of those producer jobs where they reuse a label for a different tune. the label on the other side is the exact same label, same artist/title, same black out marker.

the matrix for the side i'm interested in is FTC 7531 B, which is listed in RKR as Single Barrel. however, the FLIP SIDE of this 45 is Single Barrel. the matrix on the flip side is SB 100A, and it's not listed in RKR, nor is any close iteration of it. plus, it's done in totally different handwriting than the matrix on the other side.

this tune appears to be a different cut of Junior Delgado's tune "She's Gonna Marry Me". it's not Delgado, though, and it's a different cut of the rhythm, there's no synth, and it's more dubbed out.

anyone know the title of this tune? will try to post a sample of it.

cheers

thanks dehugo. yeah it's definitely not Far East Special, and it did just occur to me this morning that the Shades recorded that other song you posted. it is indeed a version of that song, same cut of the rhythm and voices. it's just a rhythm run with the skank guitar and piano brought to the fore, with a little lead guitar brought forward, too.

you know the instrumental i'm talking about, by chance?
