as you know i am a young begining producer from almelo holland:)i love reggae music with my heart and soul

i have a qustion for a long time but i had a little bit shame about it but with a little bit feedback i have now the power to ask it

i 'v been searching a long time for mother tapes (the tapes with al the tracks so i can make new songs on those old riddims.)"i am talking about those "Channel 1 early 80s Roots Radics with gladstone andeson on the piano riddims"
(i hope you understand what i mean) in the style of early junjo lawes productions (michael prophet Johnny osbourne) or early jah thomas production (Johnny walker pass me in the cold , doreen shaffer sweet memories , Fanna tears in my eyes girl, those 12 inch singles.)

so is it posible to buy those tapes from someone or from a producer ? let me know

i really hope someone can help me out there.

Well if I would own these tapes, I would not sell them for all the money in the world. But good luck getting your hands one them. But I guess that hundreds of people must have already tried.

in a book that i read producers in jamaica sell eachother riddims to help eachother:)

maybe make a copy of those tapes:)

You must check Diggikiller records, they have access to the Hookim tape archive, because they release a lot of 45s from tapes.

yes but is dat with the tracks ? so i can use them an mix it as i want it?

they have the tapes so they know what is on them.
