I own a pressing of Little Roy's "Keep On Trying" on a blank Matador 45. I am puzzled however to note that I recently heard a version of the song with a much more stripped-down and satisfying mix - mainly removing the female backing vocals which I thought were a bit much. The alternate mix features a much more laid back sounding guitar-based groove (and I've always enjoyed Lloyd Daley's excellent productions and their clean, tight yet deep bass lines).

So my question is if anyone knows if this stripped-down mix of "Keep On Trying" was ever issued on 45?
