Very curious about this... http://www.discogs.com/Augustus-Pablo-K ... se/3868426

Didn't knew anything about this release.
How about the sound quality? Anyone...?

Thanks in advance.
(Looking forward to know about the Black Star Liner in Dub, too.)

Was curious about this myself , so I bit the bullet and went for it ! Not having an original copy of this LP , and only a repress on the Yard label ( which was absolutely crap ,btw , dents in the vinyl , crackly press etc. ) and a CD on Jetstar , it was worth it to get a decent copy on vinyl .

Sound quality is very good indeed . Slight wow on a couple of the tracks , I assume it was mastered off a vinyl copy . It has also been sympathetically re-mastered for very crisp highs and a really solid bottom end . Good enough to shake the walls and shift a picture frame off my speaker cabinets :D

The package itself is a solid cardboard box with a magnetic lid . Sleeve notes are a bit bizarre with an interview with Scientist ( who was Tubby`s apprentice ) written by Roger Steffens . All in all a good purchase .

Can be got quite easily in the UK from Juno`s Records and also I think 6anbatte got his copy from Sounds Of The Universe . Recommended imo . (tu)

That's exactly my case. Never managed to catch a decent original copy and the successive reissues don't convince me at all.
Big thanks Trev, for let us know. Very appreciated.
Don't want disturb the community with commercial links, but at Get on Down site the box is currently in stock.

(BTW, jj please check your pm)
