Hi all

Does anyone know of any other Lee Perry produced Dennis Alcapone tracks besides the below?

Alpha and Omega
Rasta (Dub)
Back Biter
Jah Rastafari

Well Dread

Master Key is DJ piece and Key Hole its version.

Africa Stand is actually by Winston Cool (Aka Dr. Alimantado).

There are few tracks by Alcapone that have Upsetter riddim beneath but produced by Bunny Lee.

My bad "Africa Stand" is by Alcapone but "Chapter 3 Of Africa" is by Alimantado.

Works for me, I sort of wondered if 'upsetter version' might have been engineered by Perry but produced by someone else, or am I just imagining things?

Just read about Alcapone's "Pop-A-Version" credited to "Iron Capone" produced by Perry on Upset Records in '71. (Mentioned in Reggae 45 Soundsystem - A Visual History of Jamaican Reggae 1959-79 by Steve Barrow, Stuart Baker, & Noel Hawks)

"I Am The Upsetter" was produced by Joe Gibbs, so Alcapone's "Upsetter Version" is also a Gibbs production. Check them out, along with Winston Wright's "Dr. Upsetter" in this cool mega mix:

Just because it is on Upset label it doesn't mean it is produced by Upsetter. Meaning that, I don't think "Pop-A-Version"

@Sammy - Looks like your post got cut off. What makes you think "Pop-A-Version" isn't a legit Scratch production?
