Yeah. It's a nice album and a bit of a surprise that it never was re-issued before. Been some time since I last listened to it though. If I remember correctly it has a nice cut over Creole's version of Skylarking?
Always enjoyed Jah Thomas even though he sometimes can be a bit too lazy on the rhythm. He was more interesting as a producer though.

Just went and put on the album. Turns out it was the title track (which also opens up the set).

I wonder if it's an uncredited Little John in the song during the intro talk. He greets him with a »*Hail, John*« and proceeds to ask him »*The I know a man called Prince Joker from La Boca, rasta?*«. Little John (I'm guessing) responds »*Yes, Iyah. The man love to play poker.*«
Prince Joker is then name checked in the lyrics of the song. Seems to have been a proper skylarker...

By the way... on Scientists Dub from the Ghetto LP there's a dub version with Jah Thomas vocals going "too much unemployment inna England. What happend to the government man?" The lyrics sound like they're faded in and out, so for me it sounds like a dub version of an existing Jah Thomas track, not just Jah Thomas chatting some random DJ vocals over an empty riddim.
Does anyone know this Jah Thomas tune? If it exists. I didn't wanna open a new thread, hope that's allright.
