I just listened to a dub track from the "Majestic Dub" album called "Back out a this dub style" and I remember this track from the dancehall era in the early eighties. From what I can remember, the lyrics from that tune had "late night blues". Can anyone help?? Thanks

It's the rhythm to Cornell Campbell - Bandulu but you're right in that the same rhythm is used on Don Carlos - Late Night Blues. Many great songs on the rhythm but my favourite is the Don Carlos. Also try to search out the very nice deejay cut by Roy Ranking & Raymond Naptali called Go Deh In A Late Night Blues.

Just listened to all three versions you have mentioned and I have to agree the best version is by Don Carlos followed by Roy Ranking. Nice to hear those tunes again. I lost my way in reggae when they went to digi and ragga. You can't beat dancehall in my opinion, such a shame it was only for a short period of time. Do you know any decent reggae internet radio stations for dancehall and dubs.
