i am looking for a lee perry song ...
its named "full expirience"--
i do not remember the lyrics exactly...
it is something like...
roots..strictly roots..full expirience..
it is by lee perry with some other guys..
so maybe anyone can help..

http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1 ... ight=12583. I know that there was also a full Aura Lewis album released in the past 2 years, but the album title/label escapes me right now. This 'Baffling Smoke Signal' album is much easier to come by if you just want this one track.

The Full Experience LP was never released on CD.
The story of this LP is really strange. Here are the thing I know about it.
FE was a femmal trio built around a South African woman (Aura Lewis), an American one (Pamela Reed) and a Caribean one (Candy from Guyana).
To make a story short, they did backing vocals for Perry. Especialy on the Disco Devil tune. They also recorded some material as a group for Perry. During the recording there was lots of issue with Perry and musicians. Especially the kind of probleme that may occure when you put plenty of (married) man with three beautifull girls (so far I remenber). LOL. So Aura wanted to save the tapes in order to publish them by herself if the issues get worst... She gave the tape to Jimmy Cliff to secure it and she asked JC to pay Lee Perry in order to owne the right on the music. JC and Perry had a deal which "exclude" Aura. When Aura asked JC for the tapes he only gave half of the tapes and a copy with a average sound quality. Close to useless tapes.
Aura continued her tribulation on all continents and she end up in France. This is at this point the tapes she have were published by a French shop / label anmed "Blue Moon". The music was issued as a 12" 45 rpm with five tunes.
Unfortunatly there was some legal problems and the 12" is realy hard to obtain, even in France.
A very good set IMO.

Ron, I think there is some other interview (one in French iof memory is OK) and I wonder if she had her owne websites.
