Hey all Roots lovers

I have some tapes with crazy roots on, but since all this time i try to know who chant on im boring to try more with the reggae chops... The song come from an album, i guess 1978/82, like 8 songs +/- in, all singeds...

Some words of the song:

-going to america, going to canada (jamaica too sometimes)
-"be carrefull"
-the refrain say "ganja smuggling" or sorta a lot,
THE MUSIC IS WONDERFULL, heavy roots, very roots, no females voices, only males, the style looks like Wailing souls/meditations/cultural roots etc etc

I know that one song speak about "slaves" or "slavery" in the album too, a great song again...

Its just prolly the must beautifull roots album i have hear, HEEEELP MEEEE!!! thx

I still dont have the tapes player but i ask me for L Perry "History,mistery, prophesy", is it a particulary good album of him plz??? The names of the tracks looks right with it, and the period too, 1984... ( a track is called "the ganja man" )

Another albumm of him too: "smokin'"

imo 'History,Mystery,Prophesy' is one of the poorest records Perry ever made.
You may like it when you're into the 'Mystic miracle star' album which is only slightly better.

oh I see, okay , anyway, 'Ganja Man' is not the one you're looking for. Just had a listen to it (still soooooo disappointing music) and it features female chorus and a rather boring lyric about that Lee Perry is the ganja man and his name is john andsoonandson....

lol ok, but by the way thx for advice me "mystic miracle star" i got it now, wicked album!!!
