King Tubby's Hometown Hi-Fi Dubplate Specials 1975-79

Just seen this now:

Considering the label and the general fact that it's credited to King Tubby and isn't a reissue of one of the albums released in his lifetime, this is something that I should definitely ask your thoughts about before buying...
Anyone own it yet?

i dont think it is all mixed by Tubbys, most are Phillip Smart or Jammys, but definately dubbed in Tubbys studio in the mid 70s

Are they actual dubplate mixes, do you know?

As previous mentioned not all tracks dubbed by King Tubby but were all done at his studio.
Don't be misled by the title though as these tracks are not dubplates. Every track on this compilation has previously been released by B&F and can be found on either "Dub Gone Crazy 1 & 2" and "Dub Like Dirt".
It is a good compilation though in it own right even if it is a bit misleading
