ok me and my cousin have been debating which is a better band? both bands are awesome but i honestly think earth & stone are way better even though they never got the fame they deserved but they are still the best band out there. the mighty diamonds are excellent melody makers but they sound too girlyish on most of their songs. i know thats their style but earth & stone have stronger vibes than they do.

No argument "Wailing Souls" are best harmony band of all time.

Of the 2 listed, its got to be Earth & Stone as I think they have overall stronger vocals.

When Mighty Diamonds hit the right note, they too are up with the best, but imo they too often missed the mark.

Well, it is a question of personal taste so the discussion is rather superfluous.

But my personal opinion is that Earth & Stone had generally higher quality on their quite limited output while Mighty Diamonds definately had higher peaks with their greatest material. Their (MD's) debut is still one of my absolute favorite records.

deeper roots is also a very big album. I agree with you about this topic;Music is not a competition. If you ask about the tastes then yes I prefer Mighty Diamonds for those 2 albums (right time and deeper roots), absolute high level of inspiration and harmony.

ur right "rootsman" Wailing souls" are the best band out there no doubt about it at all but im just talking between these two melody makers band.

Mighty Diamonds have more stuff and its why i prefer them, cause lot of their stuff are high killers, but the best song of both bands are for me -The Officials "babylonians"- (first Earth & Stone single and song i think)

so what, they're just letting everyone know who they think is the best band. they obviously dont think either of those two bands are better than the ones they mentioned.

understand that but they topic is about these two specific bands in that case i would of made "the best band" topic lol
