Get Lost Babylon 12" Prophet Records (2000)

Good morning Roots-archives!
Simple question, does anyone here have this record?

I'm considering buying it but i can't find a sample of the 12 inch version.
Is the track the same as the one on African Queen LP? Or it has overdubs? And is Babylon Dub the same as Nippon Skank?
Why is it a 12"? is this leggit?
All in all, what is your opinion of this record? (sound quality etc)
I'd love to buy African Queen LP but it is so expensive...

The versions on the 12" and African Queen are not the same.
It´s the same recording, but the album versions have added horns.
African Queen:
Get Lost Babylon (2.55) w/horns
Nippon Skank (3.28) w/horns, a true dub mix, no vocals left
12"
Get Lost Babylon (7.17) no horns, extended without dub portion/effects
Babylon Dub (6.21) no horns, no dub effects - more like an instrumental, some vocals at start
I really like this track, so imo it´s worth having both!
Very good sound and pressing on both, too.

Those Vivian Jackson reissue twelves are all great. If you like "Get lost Babylon" keep your eyes open for the original 12" from 1978 which has the horns version + dub - with a sound that is much heavier than on the "African queen" LP! This original has "Happiness now- a-days" on the flip - which I don't think is available as a 12" any where else....

i've looked around the world wide web... the original 12" seems quite scarce, isn't it? I don't even know happiness now a days. Is it a 'new' riddim? thanks for the info i'll keep an eye open!

The original 12"-mix (7.58) is now available on the 3-CD set Dread Prophecy.
Not the b-side, though...
