I don't know if I'm really looking forward to this. Would prefer new (as in 'not on CD before') songs over new mixes...

With "new mixes" you don't mean that the tunes were recently remixed do you? That would be really lame. I hope the "mixes" are from that same era the songs are from (equipment of that time used).

I own only a handfull of Yabby You releases, so for me the songs on this CD will all be new. If you got the songs already, then yeah I understand what you mean, it's sad to hear just different mixes instead of songs that are completly new for you.

Sorry, I chose my words poorly. When I said 'new mixes', I really should've said 'previously unreleased mixes'. I suppose that they're actually what they say they are and are from the correct era, this being Pressure Sounds and all.

Whether they're any good or not is a different matter. As I've said before, sometimes things are unreleased for a good reason (i.e. Yabby thought that it was crap!). It's also possible that they dubplate stuff is sourced from badly trashed dubplates, as much of PS's Perry stuff was - and it may be one of those 'the historical importance of these recordings takes precedence over the sound quality' jobs...

@Funky Punk: I agree with everything you said. Stupid me was just shortly thinking of new 2014 Dubstep Remixes of old Yabby productions. That would have been awful imho.

If vol 1 is anything to go by, and that contained some dub plate sourced tracks which sounded great, then vol 2 is going to be great

I'm almost certain that someone (if not several people) will have already sampled, twisted and, in terms of the end result, most likely molested the famous 'Be-yoo! Yabby Yabby You!' chant for their dubstep creation...
