Ites,
I never had the possibility to listen to this max romeo album. Only a few dub versions which let me think the album is pretty good. I'd like to have your vibe about it and to know how easy it is to get.
Much thanks

Its simply the best Max Romeo for me... lot of different vibes in, 6 killer songs vs 4 in "war ina babylon", have it! (i have already see this album in cd in France, but it had a different title with the words "children" and "rastafari" in, but i cant remember the right title and label, the cover had orange color on)

It's a very different Max Romeo album for me. They have the original Island Press in the local shop for about 5.00. I'm more accustomed to the Perry produced gems, so it's takes a bit of getting used to. The LP itself is full of vocals and just a different vibe and approach than the Lee Perry productions.

It's nice mid-late seventies roots sound. Like Darewon and fabroots said, it's not the Perry sound though-I think that MAx romeo produced it himself. Regardless, yet another nice piece of work from Mr. Romeo. Has the smashin tune, Melt Away!! Live band version (not the digital remake by shaka-which also was pretty hard). I have the original island vinyl LP for sale at my shop. LEt me know if youre interested. aDam
