Can't tell you cause I only have the Negus Roots LP. Sound is fine...
Otherwise there is something I'm curious regarding the first Don Carlos' LP for Negus Roots (Suffering).
My copy has a very thin and textured cover. the same kind of textured cover as the original Bob's Uprising LP.
I was told that this cover was the very first one and the second pressing appeared with a classic cover (very same design). My copy is the only one I every see with such a cover.
Am I the only one here to ghave this kind of textured cover?

Hi,
Arize Rootsman,
I used to have the "Harvest Time" release on LP (Negus Roots). I now have the Blue Moon release on CD. Both are the same, they have the same mix although as with most CDs it does not seem to have the same heavyness in sound as its vinyl counterpart. But thats just my opinion.
Wareika,
I used to have the original "Suffering" on a JA pressing on Negus Roots. I know this because I got it in 1981 when it first appeared. The copy I had was in quite a thick cardboard sleeve (as with most JA pressings) and the cover picture was textured with a matt finish.
Hope this helps
PS The Blue Moon release retitled "Prophesy" again is the same album using the same mix but as previously stated the CD just don`t have the same humpff if you know what I mean.
Respect
Dave

Kenya,
Both of those tunes are the title songs of thier respective LPs or CD's. Classic Don (Mc)Carlos or as I like to call him D-Los. aDam
