King Tubby - The Taxi Gang Meets King Tubby's at Skateland

Because there aren't enough threads about dub LPs already. ;)

I learned of this LP recently through an online store but passed on it because it was very expensive. Has anyone here heard it? The sleeve is handwritten with this thread's title and "Black Music BM-806" in the corner. The label looks like this:

The Prince Jammy credit sounds right judging by the store's sound sample, which was a dub of Jackie Edwards - Survival is the Game. Some great releases on the Black Music label so this could be a tasty set. Perhaps someone here was the lucky buyer and could give a review?

Edit: it's likely the King Tubby title was given to the lp by its original owner.

Yes, Billy. I contacted the guy who had the Fotofon record store shortly after that very auction ended and asked him about it. This is the response I got. Not the full story but a bit of provenance to the records at least.
Dear Joakim,
this LPs I found nearly 30 years ago in a warehouse in London, about 20 pieces. White Label, test-pressings, I gave it the title DUB 23 because of the No. of matrix. It seemed to me some Jammy-product, but maybe never released. But the Letters GG normally stand for GG Records, who have nothing to do with Jammy.
More I cannot tell you.

What did the store want for it?

I believe that response is in reply to this auction from the same seller:

That LP was reissued by Hot Milk as Boss Man's Dub, but I think you know that already. I really hope the vinyl reissue is still going to happen!

Back to the Black Music Prince Jammy's set, the LP sold for 100 GBP on the online shop. Top condition and the probably invented sleeve title was very tastefully done.. Not a terrible price I suppose since it's a virtually unknown LP but I couldn't justify it from only hearing part of one track.

Ah yeah. You're right. Got fooled by the Fotofon stamp reference in the auction you linked.
