Treasure Dub Vol. 1 pressing question

Today in the mail I received what was advertised as the original press of Treasure Dub Vol. 1. Unfortunately I think it is an early second pressing. Hardly the seller's fault (assuming I'm right) since this LP is very confusing—I'd just like some validation before I ask to return it. Anyone familiar with the release history of this LP, please help me out, I'd like to clean up the discogs page a bit too.

The green label copy below is the press I bought (what I believe to be the second press) and the red deep groove label is the original issue according to Dub LP Archives. My green label copy is in NM condition but it plays with significant press noise compared to the original press featured on Dub Archives.

My copy (matrixA: Treasure Dubb-A 001A matrixB: Treasure Dubb-B 0001B) has an added beep effect on several tracks. This was brought up in a different thread about Treasure Dub by poster Nicholas ( http://www.roots-archives.com/forum/vie ... =2&t=61811 ) who also believed the pressing with added effects was a second issue. Nicholas states that all pressings except the original have added effects.

It seems the easiest way to identify the original press without reference to matrices is by the deep groove label. The sleeve is not a good indicator as many or all of the early remix copies have identical sleeves to the original.

To further confuse matters, it is likely the original press was issued with different color labels. Red with silver text, as a pictured below, and also cream with red text ( http://rootsvinylguide.com/ebay_items/e ... asure-isle ). There may be other label colors of the original press too. Then again, these different colors of deep groove labels may be different presses too!

It's all a pretty big headache without the aid of the original matrix. If anyone owns an original copy, please help me out. I'm starting to lose my mind after all this speculation and sleuthing. :)

My copy has a deep grooved red label with black printing.
There are no beeps and it is surely a first press.
Matrix is different to your green labeled copy as well. There is no number in dead wax, just a handetched name, which is unreadable to me, and an A one 1st and B on 2nd side.
(The handetched name could possibly spell "eBrown", but that is half reading and half guessing)

I've added my original copy to discogs :
http://www.discogs.com/Arthur-Duke-Reid ... se/5780808

Of course eBrown ou EBrown is the signature of engineer Errol Brown who not only mixed many records, but also cut some lacquers.
As it was mentioned, label or cover designs don't say much, all I can say that the earlier versions don't mention Disc Pressers or anything of that kind, only the album title and the tracks.
