Tunes I.D.

Can anyone ID these two tunes (probably by the same vocal group) from the lyrics please:
1) mid to late 70s on the Rasta Come From Jail/Let Him Go rhythm:
"Evil doers must fade away if you don't believe in what Jah Jah say, It's true
evil doers must fade away"
2) mid to late seventies, different rhythm but can't remeber the name of it:
"Every day the people dem a bawl they need more protection
And every day I hear them a say they need proper direction
The only remedy can solve this poverty - love one another"
Thanks
Rob

I know nothing about it, sadly. I did some purely internet research and came up with it. There's a DJ cut, Jah Stone's "Messiah", which was a match...

Yes that was the DJ cut that drew my attention to it. If that is the original vocal they must have also voiced the other track because the voices sound the same. Both good tunes.

I've remixed the DJ cut ("Protection Line") of the second one to take out Jah Stone's DJing at the start and to showcase the original vocals.
It's on Youtube now:

Slight correction on the vocals it's "Help one another" not love one another.
I'm hoping someone may know the title of the original vocal cut and whether it was ever released on vinyl.

Agreed Dickie, it's one of those tunes I could listen to all day. The back cover lists them as the Love Brothers United. The producer is Tony Shabazz and Winston Jarrett was also involved. The 12" mentioned by Bugman - "Evil Doers Fade Away" by Jah Moore & Bishop" was also produced by Tony Shabazz. I haven't heard it but by the title, label and producer it should match the other Love Brothers tune that Jah Stone cut "Messsiah" on.
I suppose it is symptomatic of JA at the time, many talented singers used for a few sessions and then dropping out of the limelight. The vocals are such a good standard though that it did occur to me that Love Brothers United may have been a name invented to cover more famous singers moonlighting from another producer.
A good start would be if anyone on here has the 12" single by Jah Moore & Bishop and can confirm that it matches "Messiah".
Cheers
