Paul Blake & the Bloodfire Posse
What happened to this guy, Paul Blake (Frankie Paul's namesake)? He used to front the Bloodfire Posse in the 80's, remember them? Tunes like Rub A Dub Soldier, Pink Panther, Every Posse Get Flat. Pretty hot band in them days. I know the bassie, Donovan, plays in the Sane Band these days though.

Re: Paul Blake & the Bloodfire Posse
I don't know what happened to Paul Blake, he has not been with the Bloodfire Possee since 1986. He was replaced by a guy called Trevor Bonnick.
They were big before SlengTeng hit us, predicting the digital style while still playing as a band and as live act they were great. I saw them back in 1985 and it was a big party.
Their album 'Are you ready' still stands the test of time.
What makes me think of whatever happened to Kotch, a group quite similar to the Bloodfire Possee.....????

I remember buying the 12" Every Posse Get Flat/Pink Panther on vinyl in 1986. Now it's on my iPod. Good stuff.

Why not make a copy of the vinyl and put it on CD? It's very easy to do.Chris23 wrote:hi, does anyone know where i can get a download of every posse get flat/pink panther PLEASE? i've got the vinyl but i just gotta have it on cd. THANKS

You need a sound card in your PC with line in. Or you need an Apple Mac (Line In is standard). You plug the 'record out' from your amp into the line in with a phono to mini jack plug (costs pennies and many sound cards have them included). Play the vinyl. It records via software on your hard drive (such software comes bundled with disc burning utilities like Roxio's 'Toast').
It's so easy.
It's so easy.

I'll second that. Followed Leggo Rockers instructions a while ago and the results are incredible. I do not excaggerate.
I use a PC and I downloaded a Pro version of Wave Corrector.
I couldn't believe it was so easy.

Re: Paul Blake & the Bloodfire Posse
I met Paul in the 80s because I used to know one of his Cousin's quite well but have since lost touch. I'll see what I can find out.
