Any Lloyd Robinson fans in here? He was solo as well as in duos like Lloyd & Devon - Red Bum Ball and later tunes like Wolf Out Deh for example, and Lloyd & Glen - That Girl, for Derrick Harriott. Great singer, solo he did Cuss Cuss, a true classic.

No Lloyd Robinson fans in here? What a shame, make yourself a favour and track down some of his records, at least those cd's containing some of his tracks, like for example the 'Matador's Productions' (Death A Come) cd on Heartbeat, '100% Dynamite'(Cuss Cuss, his most famous) on Soul Jazz, you have some Matador compilations on the Jamaican Gold label. All worth a listen. Great great singer

Not what I know Teo, I don't think he ever did despite singin' from the early 60s, must be one hell of a task to gather most of the great stuff he cut in his heyday, but well worth it. Some treasures there

Yes, "Cuss Cuss" is a classic. Lloyd & Devon also did "Push Push" which, I think, is a disco version of "Push Pull".

"Push Pull" by Pablove Black is an instrumental on Burning Spear's "Swell Headed" and is not related to "Push Push" which as far as I know is a one off rhythm that Coxsone issued on a 12" disco only.

And that one finally saw a rerelease on a Soul Jazz compilation recently, plus on a Mojo special cd this past spring, Coxsone/Studio One special

Push Push is more "ordinary" reggae, classic reggae I'd say, than any roots or rock steady/ska, look it up and you'll see what it is. Good track, most of Lloyd Robinson's stuff is really good
