i think that is happening for some time now...where I live you go to a reggae party and you will for sure get more gansta hip-hop than reggae...and the reggae is terrible when is not bloody reggaeton...but you know, most of the people want to dance as they see on MTV so that's the shit we get.

yes. its funny because "reggaeton" is modern dancehall in spanish, everyone thinks its the hot new thing, buts its been around for years. the music has died.

why are we worried that trendy people will like a reggae song? i was unaware we were in the mentality on this site that only certain people are good enough or "real" enough to listen to reggae.

i don't mind as i'll make that cut,but it's pretty dumb.

i agree, i don't love this hip hop/reggae stuff coming. but i bet the artists like jr reid and ini kamoze are loving the fat check they got for these samples. the sad thing is that they are probably making a lot more money than on their reggae projects. :/
