12" Extended Version Question/Search...Help???

Some background: I first heard this version in the summer of 1979, when I was in Boulder, Colorado (USA). A local public radio station (KGNU) had a weekly reggae show ("Reggae Bloodlines") every Saturday afternoon. The DJ's that hosted the show were from Jamaica, so they had access to recent tunes, straight out of JA., not likely "available" in the States at that time.
Anyway, the version that I've been trying to find somewhere on LP or on some form of CD is The Cables' version of "Baby Why" that fades into a DJ toasting over the riddim... In fact, the riddim is in more of the "rockers-style" than the original version (and by the way, I know that what I'm looking for is NOT the Dennis Alcapone version of Baby Why that's widely available on the Heartbeat label -- the CD is called "Forever Version"...) I just recently read on Reggae-Riddims.com, that the Mighty Diamonds' tune, "Have Mercy", is based on that rockers-style riddim of Baby Why, at least according to their site. I think it was originally produced out of Channel One. This website, Roots-Archives.com has an LP listed as "Reggay Roots" from 1977, produced by Harry J., that has the cut "The Cables & Prince Jazzbo- Baby Why"....(see the link: http://www.roots-archives.com/release/9 ... ight=11988 ) That could possibly be the version I was looking for, but I'm really not sure AND I don't know where I could possibly find/purchase that particular LP or CD. This web-site is more "informational", not commercial. Also, it's likely that the version I'm trying to find is a "single" 12" disco-mix LP and not part of an album of other songs.
Anyone have any idea about the above version?
Peace.
TJ
